2025 MEN'S COUNTY AM
Dates & Locations: Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, and Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025 at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek and Drugan’s Castle Mound

The 36-hole stroke play tournament will feature five flights:
- Championship (Gross 36 Hole Aggregate Strokeplay)
- 1st Flight (Gross 36 Hole Aggregate Strokeplay)
- 2nd Flight (Gross 36 Hole Aggregate Strokeplay)
- 3rd Flight (Gross 36 Hole Aggregate Strokeplay)
- Seniors 70 years and older Net Flight 80% handicap Gold Tees.
Championship and First Flight will play Saturday at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek and Sunday at Drugan’s Castle Mound. The second, third, fourth, and Seniors 70 years and older Net Flight will play Saturday at Drugan’s Castle Mound and Sunday at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek. Tee times begin at 7:30am both days at Cedar Creek, 7am both days at Drugan’s Castle Mound.
All players must be male, amateur golfers and meet at least one of the following:
- Resident of La Crosse County.
- Employed in La Crosse County.
- Player with active membership at a golf course within La Crosse County.
- Past champion (to be placed in flight based on index)
- Graduate of a La Crosse
- County High School or University/College (to be placed in flight based on index)
Players enrolled in High School must:
- Be a resident of La Crosse County.
- All golfers must have a United States Golf Association handicap card, which is current as of July 1, 2025.
- Golfers with a USGA slope index of 3.6 or less must play in Championship Flight and players having an index less than or equal to 8.3 may declare Championship Flight.
- Golfers with a USGA slope index between 3.7 and 8.3 must play in the First Flight unless they declare Championship Flight.
- Golfers with a USGA slope index between 8.4 and 13.2 must play in the second flight.
- Golfers with a USGA slope index of 13.2 and above must play in the third flight.
- Golfers that are 70 years or older qualify to play in the Seniors Net Division from the gold tees.
- Entry fee is $140 for all players, which will include greens fee, power golf cart fee and prize purse.
- All players will be paired by the rules and pairings committee.
- New pairings will be made for the second day of the tournament in order of finish for day 1.
KWIK TRIP SENIORS COUNTY AM

The Seniors 18-hole stroke play tournament is for ages 50 and older as of July 27, 2025. Golfers will compete in three flights. – Championship 0-8.0 index, Net Flight 8.1 index and above (80% Handicap), and Super Seniors Net Flight (70 years of age and older 80% Handicap).

REGISTER FOR THE 35TH ANNUAL LA CROSSE COUNTY AMATEUR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS
Registration Deadlines – July 21, 2025 (Seniors) and July 28, 2025 (Men’s).
GOLF CARTS ARE MANDATORY for all tournaments.
AN AWARDS CEREMONY for all flights of the Men’s County Amateur Championship will be held at Drugan’s Castle Mound after the completion of the final round.
ALL ENTRY FORMS MUST BE SIGNED BY PLAYER TO BE CONSIDERED VALID.
- No entry fee will be refunded after the tournament deadline. Deadlines are July 21, 2025 (Seniors) and July 28, 2025 (Men’s).
- Tournament committee reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any player who does not meet tournament criteria.
- In the event of inclement weather, it is the player’s responsibility to check with the host golf course about any schedule changes.
- The Golf Club at Cedar Creek, a Private Golf Club, has set aside Friday, July 25, as the practice day for players entered in the County Amateur. Fee is $55, plus tax, for 18 holes of golf and cart, payable at the course on the day of practice round. Call the golf shop at 608-783-8300 for tee times.
