Women’s County Am

Date & Location: Saturday, July 30, at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek (par 71)
ENTRY DEADLINE: Midnight on Tuesday July 19, 2022

The Women’s 18-hole stroke play tournament will feature a minimum of three flights – Championship, First and Second. Women’s players wishing to declare Championship Flight may do so regardless of handicap. All players must be female, amateur golfers and meet at least one of the following:

  1. Resident of La Crosse County.
  2. Employed in La Crosse County.
  3. Player with active membership at golf course within La Crosse County.
  4. Past champion (to be placed in flight based on index)
  5. Graduate of a La Crosse County high school or university/college (to be placed in flight based on index)

Players enrolled in high school must:

  1. Be a resident of La Crosse County.
  2. Have a maximum USGA slope of 11.0 by July 19, 2022.

All golfers must have a United States Golf Association handicap card, current as of July 19, 2022. Golfers with a USGA slope index of 11.0 or less must play in Championship Flight. The remaining golfers will be divided into two flights – First and Second. Player entry fee is $70, which covers greens fee, power cart fee and prize fee. All players will be paired by the rules and pairings committee.

Kwik Trip Seniors County Am

Date & Location: Sunday, July 31, at Forest Hills Golf Course (par 71)
ENTRY DEADLINE: Midnight on Tuesday July 19, 2022

Kwik Trip logoThe Seniors 18-hole stroke play tournament is for ages 50 and older as of July 31, 2022. Golfers will compete in a minimum of four flights – Championship, First, Second and Third based upon a full field. Seniors’ players wishing to declare Championship Flight may do so regardless of handicap.

SUPER SENIORS: Players age 70 and older may declare and compete in a Low Net Score Super Seniors Division.

All players must be male, amateur golfers and meet at least one of the following:

  1. Resident of La Crosse County.
  2. Employed in La Crosse County.
  3. Player with active membership at golf course within La Crosse County.
  4. Past champion (to be placed in flight based on index)
  5. Graduate of a La Crosse County high school or university/college (placed in flight based on index)

All golfers must have a United States Golf Association handicap card, which is current as of July 19, 2022. Golfers with a USGA slope index of 8.0 or less must play in the Championship Flight. The remaining golfers will be divided into three flights – First, Second and Third. Player entry fee is $70, which covers greens fee, power cart fee and prize fee. Men’s County Am

Dates & Locations: Saturday, Aug. 6, and Sunday, Aug. 7, at Drugan’s Castle Mound, Holmen (par 70 for championship flight, par 71 for all other flights) and at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek, Onalaska (par 71)
ENTRY DEADLINE: Midnight on Tuesday, July 26, 2022

The 36-hole stroke play tournament will feature five flights – Championship, First, Second, Third and Fourth. Players wishing to declare Championship Flight may do so regardless of handicap.

Championship and First Flight will play Saturday at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek and Sunday at Drugan’s Castle Mound. Second, Third and Fourth Flights will play Saturday at Drugan’s Castle Mound and Sunday at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek. Tee times begin at 7:30 a.m. both days at Cedar Creek, 8 a.m. both days at Drugan’s Castle Mound.

All players must be male, amateur golfers and meet at least one of the following:

  1. Resident of La Crosse County.
  2. Employed in La Crosse County.
  3. Player with active membership at golf course within La Crosse County.
  4. Past champion (to be placed in flight based on index)
  5. Graduate of a La Crosse County high school or university/college (to be placed in flight based on index)

All players will be paired by the rules and pairings committee. New pairings will be made for the second day of the tournament.

Registration Deadlines – Midnight, July 19, 2022 (Seniors and Women’s) and Midnight, July 26, 2022 (Men’s).

GOLF CARTS ARE MANDATORY for all tournaments. Players unwilling to share a cart will be charged an additional fee by participating golf courses.

AN AWARDS CEREMONY for all flights of the Men’s County Amateur Championship will be held at Drugan’s Castle Mound after the completion of the final round.

IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT REMINDERS:

  • The Men’s, Seniors and Women’s County Am are spikeless tournaments. All players must wear non-metal spikes. Acceptable footwear includes flat-soled shoes, tennis shoes, non-metal or non-ceramic spikes or spikeless golf shoes. Proper clothing is required.
  • No entry fee will be refunded after the tournament deadline. Deadlines are Midnight July 19 (seniors and women’s) and Midnight July 26 (men’s).
  • Tournament committee reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any player who does not meet tourney criteria.
  • In the event of inclement weather, it is the player’s responsibility to check with the host golf course about any schedule changes.
  • The Golf Club at Cedar Creek, a private course, has set aside Friday, July 29, as the practice day for players entered in the County Amateur. Fee is $50, plus tax, for 18 holes of golf and cart, payable at the course on the day of practice round. Call the golf shop for tee times.
